Is There a ‘Third Way’ to Fight Climate Change?

Current public debate tends to focus on two paths toward reducing climate change: (1) Limiting greenhouse gas emissions or (2) Geoengineering proposals. But what if we could capture the carbon dioxide already in the atmosphere and store it or use it to create the things we need? In this article, author Tim Flannery suggests this could be an innovative solution and a “third way” to combat climate change.
