Risk of Extreme Weather From Climate Change Rise Over Next Century

Drought in Puerto Rico has left the La Plata reservoir nearly empty. A recent predicts that a growing number of people will be affected by extreme weather.

A Lancet Report says that over the next century, more people will be exposed to natural disasters and extreme weather associated with climate change. For years, climate change was presented in terms of natural habitats and the environment, but more recently, experts have been looking at how it may change life on Earth for people. Human beings and the nature are closely connected during the process of social development, and our fates both rely on the global environment.
